The Garrick public house is situated on the High street, and is regarded by the locals of stratford
as the oldest public house in Stratford.
Stratford is also famous all over the world for the collection of swans upon the river Avon.
The new "Shakespeare Theatre" was opened in late 2010. The tower on the right allows vistors to
see Stratford from above.
The 'Jester', is another character from one of Shakespeare's plays, and is situated
at the very top of Henley Street.

Keeping with places to drink, the 'Thached Tavern' on the corner of Rother street is just one of
many thached properties within Stratford.
This is just one of several islands where the swans are able to nest in safety along the river
Avon.
The statue of William Shakespeare is surrounded by staues of characters from many of his plays ans
is situated on the Bancroft Gardens.
the 'American Fountain', is based on Rother Street, and was given to Stratford as a gift. This area
is also where the local Market is situated every Friday.
