This page contains photo's and a brief description of the wonderful town I live in "Stratford upon Avon". 

This is the town where William Shakespeare lived and has some wonderful places to visit.
 
More photos of Stratford and places of interest will be added shortly.  For now though there are some photos of Stratford Christmas lights.These lights are regarded as being the best Christmas lights outside of London.

Town Tree

This is one of the main trees in the centre of Stratford. In the background is one of many old buildings you will see in and around Stratford.

Bridge Street.

The lights in this photo go the length of this street. This street is so wide that poles have to be used in the centre to support the weight of the decorations.

High Street.

High street is right in the middle of town. This street leads to numerous shops, hotels and will even lead to old town, where you will find "Holy Trinity Church". This is where you can find the burial ground of Stratfords greatest son.

Christmas light close up.

The close up of this light hopefully gives an idea of how good these lights are to see for real.

Union Street.

Union Street contains just one of many taxi ranks. The photo does not show the lights as good as I would of liked, but they are still nice all the same.

Town Hall.

One of the best buildings lit up for Christmas has to be the Town Hall.
